The mission of our church is to promote the faith to our coming generation and to preserve, practice and proclaim the Orthodox Christian faith in order to glorify god.


To adhere to the Lords Commandments as expressed in the life and teachings of the Orthodox Christian Church and to manifest the Christian love, Service, Worship, Leadership and Leaning.


Our vision is to participate in the life of the church and grow in faith, to connect and communicate within and outside the parish community to promote faith talent, to generously support and serve the parish and our community.

Welcome to Our Church

St. Gregorios Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Church in London, Ontario, started as a prayer group in 2014 and formed in to a congregation in 2015 with few families along with the full support of families in the surrounding areas. St. Gregorios Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Church is a part of the universal Syriac Orthodox Church with the Patriarch of Antioch, His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem IInd as its supreme head. The local head of the church in Malankara is the Catholicose of India, His Beatitude Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I, and governed by the North American Diocese Bishop His Eminence Eldho Mor Theethose, ordained by and accountable to the Patriarch of Antioch.

Our Parish is instituted in the sacred name of Mar Gregorios of Parumala, who became the first declared saint from Malankara, naturally to be called “Parumala Thirumeni”.
